Overview
The Northeast Triad Convention Center, when originally introduced to Skyscraper Simulator in May 2010, was a vision to revolutionize the concept of hand-coded buildings within Skyscraper. The complex would contain a convention center, office building (named Octagon Plaza), hotel (named Northeast Triad Hotel), and a large parking garage all under the same roof. On top of that, the building would be surrounded by a complex landscape, with hills and curved roads. As the project progressed, new ideas, improvements, and design changes were made, including photo-realistic elevators, complex stairwells, and split-level basements.
Layout
Northeast Triad Convention Center is divided into four main sections: South Convention Center, North Convention Center, Main Parking Garage/Atrium, and North Parking Garage.
South Convention Center
The South Convention Center contains the original convention center as well as the 35-story hotel tower.

North Convention Center & Octagon Plaza
The North Convention Center is the meeting rooms on the lower floors of the office tower, and the ballrooms on the northwest side of the atrium. The atrium is the large lobby on the 4th and 5th floors between the South Convention Center and North Convention Center. The office tower, called Octagon Plaza, is an octagon-shaped 26-story office tower that contains additional meeting rooms for the convention center (floors 5 - 9), convention center offices (floors 10 - 14), leased offices (floors 14 - 25), and on the top floor a restaurant called Trapezoid Restaurant, which is accessed by a special bank of elevators.

Main Parking Garage & Atrium
The Main Parking Garage/Atrium is located between the South Convention Center and the North Convention Center. This area contains a 4-story parking garage (4th floor is only on the east side) with an atrium and lounging area above it. The atrium spans from the 4th floor to the 9th floor, with the base on the 4th floor (west side) and 5th floor (east side), with a grand staircase connecting the two levels.

North Parking Garage
The North Parking Garage, added later in the project, is located just north of the main parking garage and just east of Octagon Plaza. The parking garage contains 8 above-ground levels and 7 underground levels, which are split-level with Octagon Plaza's basement levels.
